Ready to get your new site going? First thing we do is discuss what you want your site to do – deliver information about your business, sell online, offer memberships, auction products, or all the above?
Once we have a clear idea of the site’s purpose, we think about the design: do you have a logo? If so, that often determines the color palette and general design. If not, we will create one, using your chosen colors and the impression you want your business to project: professional, sporty, fun, arty, etc.
At this point, if you have sites in mind whose designs you like, we will look them over and determine which aspects of them attract you.
Once we have a clear idea of how your site will function and look, we will create a design for your approval on our server, which we will tweak as necessary until it’s perfect.
When the design is approved, we will create the rest of the site on our server, bugging you for content as necessary.
When the site is complete on our server, we will migrate it to your hosting account, and it then goes live.
We take care of all the details necessary to get your site going: help you get hosting, get the best domain name available, set up email and SSL certificates (the little lock icon on the address bar that lets visitors know your site is safe), whatever it takes to make it all work.
Every site we build has a content management system, which allows you to easily update any aspect of your site: add and edit pages, insert images, add products to your store, etc.
We will of course teach you to run the system – very fun and empowering.
Plus we’re always available to do it for you, if your prefer.
And, of course, we will always be there to take care of any web issues – once you sign up with us you become part of the family.
